thank God that she's been discharge on FRIDAY and is on MC till friday. please pray for a speedy recovery! anyway, here's a message from ms yeo!

Dear Sandra,

Please thank everyone for the lovely card! I thoroughly enjoyed reading it! Could you please let me know names of the teachers who penned their wishes because I was not able to make out some of the signatures.

I need you to do me another favour. Could you please upload to the class the attached file? It is a collection of Paper 1 Part II essays written mostly by former pupils of PHS. I have included as many types of format as possible. At the end of the day, please include this message to 4Endurance:

1. You MUST decide whether the task is a formal, informal or semi-formal one.

2. Once you have decided, then, check who your audience is, what is the purpose of the letter - to complain, persuade, instruct, promote or advertise?

3. If you can determine No.2, then you need to know the appropriate language and tone to use in your task.

4. For formal letters, be very courteous, no contractions (didn't, weren't and so on) whereas for informal, you are allowed to be more casual in your salutation (Hi,..) and signature (love,...).

As for the assignment, it's 44 pages long!!! Please message me by TOMORROW (SUNDAY) if you want me to photocopy the document for you.

How much does it cost?
1 page ----> 5 cents.
44 pages ----> 220cents = S$2.20
(i'm pretty sure everyone's math isn't that bad!)

NOTE: whether i DON'T photocopy for you or not, you HAVE to do the assignment. me photocopying for you is a SERVICE (in POA terms, FOC!!!). therefore, everyone HAS TO DO THIS ASSIGNMENT.

Collection of Govrnment Taz

Okay, people..... Miss Yeo has asked for a collection of $13 till this Friday.

Defining $13 purposes:
1.$10 is for the Examination Fees
2.$3 is for the stationary used
( printing papers )

So please pay promptly on these days: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday(Last and Final collection)

Tomorrow will be the First collection of $13.


*There are still some people who haven pay the $6.50 for the chemistry 10year series. I will be also collecting that tomorrow...
